Ruy Duarte's late challenge caught a TheGazette's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ruy Duarte helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of TheGazette booed when MDS Soccer Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruy Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lukasz Gmoch in the 6thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Müjdat Semin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. MDS Soccer Club's Erivaldo Severo got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Földes in the 17th minute of play forced MDS Soccer Club's goalkeeper Zheng Di Xi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. TheGazette's Müjdat Semin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erivaldo Severo in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by TheGazette's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Milosz Solecki was slow to take the kick. During this time MDS Soccer Club's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Milosz Solecki got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Müjdat Semin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. MDS Soccer Club were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after TheGazette's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Milosz Solecki took the corner. The corner led MDS Soccer Club's Milosz Solecki to fire away a dangerous shot which Müjdat Semin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Müjdat Semin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erivaldo Severo's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Antal Földes struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Zheng Di Xi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TheGazette. 40 minutes into the match, MDS Soccer Club's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Földes came free, but Zheng Di Xi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antal Földes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zheng Di Xi having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 53rd minute, Antal Földes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Lukasz Gmoch came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the MDS Soccer Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lukasz Gmoch couldn't finish the play. 57 minutes into the match, MDS Soccer Club's Erivaldo Severo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Müjdat Semin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 58th match minute, TheGazette was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Betão Messias to maneuver through the defense. Lukasz Gmoch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Müjdat Semin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Caio Cearense during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Caio Cearense kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After having played for 69 minutes, Erivaldo Severo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MDS Soccer Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erivaldo Severo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Földes in the 71st minute of play forced MDS Soccer Club's goalkeeper Zheng Di Xi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes into the game, Vicente Cearense was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MDS Soccer Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TheGazette the free kick. Vicente Cearense kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Antal Földes took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zheng Di Xi. Zheng Di Xi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. When Stasio Jastrowicz fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TheGazette's protests and gave Stasio Jastrowicz a yellow card for diving instead. Stasio Jastrowicz hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. TheGazette's Müjdat Semin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erivaldo Severo in the 82nd minute of play. MDS Soccer Club were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after TheGazette's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Milosz Solecki took the corner. With his leg Zheng Di Xi managed to avoid a goal in the 93rdth minute, when TheGazette's Antal Földes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. TheGazette played a much better game than MDS Soccer Club and deserved their victory. The MDS Soccer Club players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
