Leão de Judá's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ernani Souto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. When Leão de Judá's Caetano De Bruyne in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When Severino Azevedo fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leão de Judá's protests and gave Severino Azevedo a yellow card for diving instead. Severino Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Wilton Vale had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Charlie Hennenberg. A collision led to Leão de Judá getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Hildeberto Teles hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Wilton Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilton Vale in the 53rd minute of play forced Leão de Judá's goalkeeper Charlie Hennenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. TAQUARI FC's Rodolfo Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Azevedo in the 57th minute of play. After 57 played minutes TAQUARI FC got a freekick which was hit by Frank Lampard. In the 60th minute, Wilton Vale left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TAQUARI FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. A collision led to Leão de Judá getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Jonathan Rodas hit a great ball. Bernardinho de Brito might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rodolfo Salgado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernardinho de Brito ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, TAQUARI FC's Igor Tinoco got a free kick in the 76th minute. TAQUARI FC made a substitution. Giannis Karagiotis replaced Valer Covaliu. The supporters of Leão de Judá booed when TAQUARI FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Tinoco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 79 played minutes, Leão de Judá's Freddy Rincón shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rodolfo Salgado came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Leão de Judá reached it. Charlie Hennenberg made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Erasmo Gaspar sent off a good shot on target. Charlie Hennenberg came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by TAQUARI FC's Wilton Vale. But to his dismay, Wilton Vale quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. 87 minutes into the game, Wilton Vale cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Charlie Hennenberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 92nd minute Wilton Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charlie Hennenberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chants of TAQUARI FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Leão de Judá had held the ball for most of the match.
