When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wilton Vale made a kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Wilton Vale who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marxistas's Vladimir Costa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 53rd minute TAQUARI FC were awarded a corner. Bernard Letourneau went to the cornerflag to take it. TAQUARI FC's Ernani Souto was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vladimir Costa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 55th minute of the match TAQUARI FC got a corner. Marxistas's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The corner led TAQUARI FC's Ernani Souto to fire away a dangerous shot which Vladimir Costa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 66th minute, Wilton Vale left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TAQUARI FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. After a rather tough play, TAQUARI FC's Frank Lampard got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 72nd minute, Wilton Vale ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vladimir Costa was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. TAQUARI FC's Erasmo Gaspar was substituted for Ernani Souto. TAQUARI FC's Giannis Karagiotis was substituted for Valer Covaliu.
