Zé Pedro Siqueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charlie Hennenberg having to interfere. 5 minutes into the match, Leão de Judá's goalkeeper Charlie Hennenberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerson Alcântara. Müjdat Semin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano De Bruyne in the 18th minute of play. With his leg Charlie Hennenberg managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when TheGazette's Zé Pedro Siqueira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Leão de Judá's Charlie Hennenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Pedro Siqueira in the 25th minute of play. Gerson Alcântara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardinho de Brito in the 40th minute of play forced TheGazette's goalkeeper Müjdat Semin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Müjdat Semin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano De Bruyne in the 42nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Caetano De Bruyne's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Müjdat Semin was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Caetano De Bruyne to strike the kick off in the second half. TheGazette's Müjdat Semin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caetano De Bruyne in the 68th minute of play. With his leg Müjdat Semin managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Leão de Judá's Caetano De Bruyne fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Leão de Judá's Bernardinho de Brito got a free kick in the 74th minute. Leão de Judá were awarded a corner in the 78th minute after TheGazette's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cesinha Pitta took the corner. Müjdat Semin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano De Bruyne in the 80th minute of play. Charlie Hennenberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geovanni Félix in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 83rd minute Caetano De Bruyne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Müjdat Semin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 86 played minutes Leão de Judá got a freekick which was hit by Freddy Rincón. Müjdat Semin made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Caetano De Bruyne sent off a good shot on target. Caetano De Bruyne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Müjdat Semin made a huge save. After 93 minutes, Geovanni Félix mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TheGazette and the Leão de Judá players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Leão de Judá booed when TheGazette was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geovanni Félix didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, TheGazette's Müjdat Semin got control of the ball when Caetano De Bruyne tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Bernardinho de Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leão de Judá's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardinho de Brito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Müjdat Semin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see TheGazette lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
