After a defensive mix-up in Cavalos Cansados's zone, Matouš Carda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oliver Sharkin came out of the goal and Matouš Carda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cavalos Cansados's Oliver Sharkin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Bykowski in the 17th minute of play. Oliver Sharkin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matouš Carda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oliver Sharkin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matouš Carda in the 27th minute of the match. After 27 played minutes AFC - Curitiba got a freekick which was hit by Zhang Yin Si. Fausto da Rocha made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Iker Pero sent off a good shot on target. Iker Pero received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fausto da Rocha came out and tried to block the shot, but Iker Pero slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 47th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
An unexpectedly hard shot by André Balada in the 56th minute of play forced AFC - Curitiba's goalkeeper Fausto da Rocha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tiago Gabriel Cearense charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tiago Gabriel Cearense the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Matouš Carda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Oliver Sharkin made a huge save. 88 minutes into the match, Cavalos Cansados's goalkeeper Oliver Sharkin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matouš Carda. Oliver Sharkin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matouš Carda went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. 91 minutes into the match, Cavalos Cansados's goal looked a bit too open when August Wahlnäs came free, but Oliver Sharkin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute Iker Pero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto da Rocha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iker Pero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Cavalos Cansados supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching AFC - Curitiba's performance. The match ended with a win for AFC - Curitiba.
