Glauco Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horaţiu Măcrinici in the 3rd minute of play. Giovani Arantes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Mickaël Maris made a huge save. If Horaţiu Măcrinici had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Horaţiu Măcrinici might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Glauco Borges. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Horaţiu Măcrinici ran back to his position shaking his head. Glauco Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislao Gerazan in the 15th minute of play. The Nova Iguaçu MZFC fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Horaţiu Măcrinici looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 20th minute of the match, Jeferson Oliveira tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mickaël Maris saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Lepo Lepo FC were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Nova Iguaçu MZFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pedro Paulo Nóbrega took the corner. After 23 minutes, Horaţiu Măcrinici made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Lepo Lepo FC's Glauco Borges tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 29 minutes into the match, Lepo Lepo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Horaţiu Măcrinici came free, but Glauco Borges reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Glauco Borges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislao Gerazan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute, Horaţiu Măcrinici made a precise shot to the right of Glauco Borges. Lepo Lepo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. In the 37th minute, Horaţiu Măcrinici left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nova Iguaçu MZFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Jeferson Oliveira took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mickaël Maris. Mickaël Maris dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. After 45th play minutes Horaţiu Măcrinici shot 1-6, a short shot which went by Glauco Borges and just under the crossbar into goal.

The wind increased when Horaţiu Măcrinici made the kick off in the second half. Geovani Melo kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horaţiu Măcrinici got free with Glauco Borges in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Lepo Lepo FC defense, Horaţiu Măcrinici kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Glauco Borges. The Lepo Lepo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Glauco Borges should have stopped the shot. Glauco Borges stood somewhat misplaced when Horaţiu Măcrinici came free in front of goal and shot 1-8 to the left of him in the 57 minute. The Nova Iguaçu MZFC fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Horaţiu Măcrinici looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-9 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The crowd rose to their feet as Horaţiu Măcrinici kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Glauco Borges. That made the score 1-10 in the 63 minute of play. Ladislao Gerazan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Glauco Borges came out and tried to block the shot, but Ladislao Gerazan slotted it home off the left post making it 1-11 in the 66th minute. Lepo Lepo FC's Glauco Borges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carolo Cambranes in the 69th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Horaţiu Măcrinici in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Glauco Borges saved Lepo Lepo FC from getting behind. When Jeferson Oliveira fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lepo Lepo FC's protests and gave Jeferson Oliveira a yellow card for diving instead. Glauco Borges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horaţiu Măcrinici, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Horaţiu Măcrinici in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Horaţiu Măcrinici managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Horaţiu Măcrinici was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Glauco Borges breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 81 minutes into the match, Horaţiu Măcrinici had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Glauco Borges. Lepo Lepo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Horaţiu Măcrinici was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-12. The audience was convinced that Horaţiu Măcrinici's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Glauco Borges was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Glauco Borges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislao Gerazan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute, Horaţiu Măcrinici got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 90th play minute Ladislao Gerazan came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Glauco Borges. 1-14. Lepo Lepo FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Horaţiu Măcrinici 95 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-15. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
