Emilio Cascajares started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, October 04's goalkeeper Eskil Vester had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jeferson Oliveira. October 04's Stavros Bantis managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Pedro Paulo Nóbrega in the 4 minute of the game. After 5 played minutes October 04 got a freekick which was hit by Dariusz Rogoz. Glauco Borges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Cascajares, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Lepo Lepo FC's Glauco Borges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Cascajares in the 12th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Paulo Nóbrega during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pedro Paulo Nóbrega hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. If Emilio Cascajares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emilio Cascajares might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Glauco Borges. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emilio Cascajares ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Cascajares in the 17th minute of play forced Lepo Lepo FC's goalkeeper Glauco Borges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Paulo Nóbrega was shown his second yellow card after 20 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of October 04 booed when Lepo Lepo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Paulo Nóbrega didn't get a good kick on the ball. The October 04 fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when October 04's Emilio Cascajares looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiberiu Balint in the 24th minute of play forced Lepo Lepo FC's goalkeeper Glauco Borges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Lepo Lepo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Cascajares came free, but Glauco Borges reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute, Jeferson Oliveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. João Vítor Martins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Emilio Cascajares came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the October 04 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emilio Cascajares couldn't finish the play. In the 45th minute, Emilio Cascajares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lepo Lepo FC's goalkeeper Glauco Borges, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Giovani Arantes made a kick off. Lepo Lepo FC's attentive Jeferson Oliveira managed to snatch the ball when Stavros Bantis made a throw-in in the 54th minute of the game. Glauco Borges was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Emilio Cascajares showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 55 minute of play. Emilio Cascajares received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Glauco Borges came out and tried to block the shot, but Emilio Cascajares slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 61st minute. After 63 minutes, João Pernambucano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lepo Lepo FC and the October 04 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 64th minute, Emilio Cascajares left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The October 04 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. In the 68th minute, October 04's Emilio Cascajares dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8. In the 72nd minute, Emilio Cascajares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Glauco Borges was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. Emilio Cascajares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pran Labitte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Glauco Borges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81stth minute of the game Emilio Cascajares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lepo Lepo FC's Glauco Borges was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tiberiu Balint recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 89th play minutes Emilio Cascajares shot 0-11, a short shot which went by Glauco Borges and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 92nd match minute, October 04 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harvey Elliott to maneuver through the defense. When Emilio Cascajares came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the October 04 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emilio Cascajares couldn't finish the play.
