An unexpectedly hard shot by Horaţiu Măcrinici in the 3rd minute of play forced Maragassume AD - CIMZ's goalkeeper Cauan de Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Maragassume AD - CIMZ's goalkeeper Cauan de Senna had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ladislao Gerazan. After 5 played minutes Maragassume AD - CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Aníbal Amaral. Cauan de Senna acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 6th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jerônimo Favoretto. Cauan de Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horaţiu Măcrinici, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Mickaël Maris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergiu Râznicu in the 12th minute of play. Cauan de Senna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horaţiu Măcrinici in the 16th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Horaţiu Măcrinici in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cauan de Senna saved Maragassume AD - CIMZ from getting behind. Cauan de Senna didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Horaţiu Măcrinici went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. When Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Horaţiu Măcrinici in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Maragassume AD - CIMZ's goalie prevented a goal. Maragassume AD - CIMZ's Cauan de Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislao Gerazan in the 28th minute of play. Frédson Chaves kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 33rdth minute of the game Aníbal Amaral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Mickaël Maris was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Horaţiu Măcrinici fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cauan de Senna having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Horaţiu Măcrinici slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cauan de Senna. That made the score 2-0 after 37 minutes of play. After 42 played minutes Maragassume AD - CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Sergiu Râznicu. Cauan de Senna stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Horaţiu Măcrinici's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. In the 44th minute, Sergiu Râznicu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the match, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's goal looked a bit too open when Sergiu Râznicu came free, but Mickaël Maris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The wind increased when Horaţiu Măcrinici made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Maragassume AD - CIMZ's zone, Horaţiu Măcrinici stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cauan de Senna came out of the goal and Horaţiu Măcrinici tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cauan de Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carolo Cambranes, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Mickaël Maris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergiu Râznicu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Mickaël Maris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldão Sanches in the 66th minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Ladislao Gerazan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cauan de Senna. Maragassume AD - CIMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ladislao Gerazan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After 82 played minutes Nova Iguaçu MZFC got a freekick which was hit by Olavo Costa. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Mickaël Maris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diamantino Neves in the 83rd minute of play. In the 86th match minute, Nova Iguaçu MZFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fábio de Medeiros to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Nova Iguaçu MZFC booed when Maragassume AD - CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diamantino Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Horaţiu Măcrinici recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 93rd minute, Luiz Fábio de Medeiros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ladislao Gerazan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Cauan de Senna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
