Elivélton de Lima might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Geraldo Queiroz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elivélton de Lima ran back to his position shaking his head. Geraldo Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elivélton de Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th match minute, One Piece FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elivélton de Lima to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, One Piece FC's João Paulo Peres got a free kick in the 9th minute. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Geovani Mandrak took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Geraldo Queiroz to make any attempt to save it. João Paulo Peres came free with the goalkeeper in the 16th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Geraldo Queiroz could save by the left post. Geraldo Queiroz made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Geovani Mandrak sent off a good shot on target. Elivélton de Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Geraldo Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of One Piece FC booed when Rockets was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edu Mangueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Rockets's goalkeeper Geraldo Queiroz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by João Paulo Peres. After 21 played minutes Rockets got a freekick which was hit by Naldo Garcia. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elivélton de Lima in the 23rd minute of play forced Rockets's goalkeeper Geraldo Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Dudu Madureira came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Rockets fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dudu Madureira couldn't finish the play. Geraldo Queiroz made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when João Paulo Peres sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Geovani Mandrak managed to get in a good position for a shot. One Piece FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Geovani Mandrak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geraldo Queiroz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 39th minute, Elivélton de Lima left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The One Piece FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Geovani Mandrak during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Geovani Mandrak kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. 47 minutes into the game, João Paulo Peres cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Geraldo Queiroz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elivélton de Lima was the one to do the kick off. After 54 minutes of play, One Piece FC's Elivélton de Lima made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Geraldo Queiroz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Geraldo Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elivélton de Lima in the 59th minute of the match. Geraldo Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elivélton de Lima in the 61st minute of play. 65 minutes into the game, Elivélton de Lima cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Geraldo Queiroz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. João Paulo Peres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geraldo Queiroz having to interfere. Geraldo Queiroz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from João Paulo Peres went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as Rockets's Joélson Melo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alvin Arthur. That made the score 6-1 after 95 minutes of play.
