Estrela Futebol Club were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after Dragons EC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Váldson Favoretto took the corner. After 13 played minutes Dragons EC got a freekick which was hit by Adam Nørlyk. Generoso Ieltxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anatoliy Lobanov in the 25th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Anatoliy Lobanov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Generoso Ieltxu was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Generoso Ieltxu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tzanyo Kibarov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casper Huygens having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tzanyo Kibarov was the one to do the kick off. Casper Huygens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tzanyo Kibarov's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. José Alagoano hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. The supporters of Estrela Futebol Club booed when Dragons EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. César Sampaio didn't get a good kick on the ball.
