The audience thought a goal was coming when Anatoliy Lobanov got free with Eurico de Amorim in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If José Alagoano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dragons EC's Nilson Bastos quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Lúcio da Cunha, made in the 20th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anatoliy Lobanov got free with Eurico de Amorim in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. TOP™ - Nairoby's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Anatoliy Lobanov scored to the left of an out of position Eurico de Amorim, making the score, 1-0. If Bebeto Moreno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of TOP™ - Nairoby booed when Dragons EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Alberto Camargo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lúcio da Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Anatoliy Lobanov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. TOP™ - Nairoby's Eurico de Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anatoliy Lobanov in the 36th minute of play. Casper Huygens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartlomiej Niziolek, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After 44 minutes of play, TOP™ - Nairoby's Przemyslaw Bednarek made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Casper Huygens was left in no man's land by his defense there! Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anatoliy Lobanov made a kick off. If Anatoliy Lobanov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dragons EC's Casper Huygens proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Dragons EC from getting a goal against them. 57 minutes into the match, Dragons EC's goalkeeper Casper Huygens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dilaver İlmen. 61 minutes into the match, TOP™ - Nairoby's goal looked a bit too open when Anatoliy Lobanov came free, but Eurico de Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute Anatoliy Lobanov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eurico de Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Dragons EC's Casper Huygens got control of the ball when Dilaver İlmen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Casper Huygens came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by TOP™ - Nairoby's Bebeto Moreno. But to his dismay, Bebeto Moreno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. TOP™ - Nairoby made a substitution. Wilian Motta replaced Bebeto Moreno. After a defensive mix-up in Dragons EC's zone, Felippe Palmeira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casper Huygens came out of the goal and Felippe Palmeira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lúcio da Cunha made in the 77th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Dragons EC's Nilson Bastos. Anatoliy Lobanov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eurico de Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Bartlomiej Niziolek could shoot a difficult shot in the 83rd minute, which Casper Huygens however easily saved by the left post. In the 87th minute, one of TOP™ - Nairoby:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for TOP™ - Nairoby. TOP™ - Nairoby's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Dragons EC had won, even though TOP™ - Nairoby had held more of the ball.
