Araçá F. C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Radomil Zbydniowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Jefferson de Moraes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Danilo Salgado went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Deportivo Craques fc defense, Nilmar Vieira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Giuseppe Silveira. The Deportivo Craques fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Giuseppe Silveira should have stopped the shot. After 14 played minutes Araçá F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Oswaldo Maciel. Giuseppe Silveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joélson de Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Araçá F. C.'s zone, Tudor Ponor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jefferson de Moraes came out of the goal and Tudor Ponor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 19th match minute, Araçá F. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Fernando Siqueira to maneuver through the defense. After 20 minutes, Tudor Ponor made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Araçá F. C.'s Jefferson de Moraes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Angelo Luz kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Araçá F. C.'s Jefferson de Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Salgado in the 24th minute of play. Jefferson de Moraes came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Craques fc's Tudor Ponor. But to his dismay, Tudor Ponor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Nilmar Vieira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Giuseppe Silveira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Araçá F. C.'s Jefferson de Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radomil Zbydniowski in the 31st minute of play. Araçá F. Nilmar Vieira might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Giuseppe Silveira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nilmar Vieira ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Danilo Salgado in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jefferson de Moraes saved Araçá F. C. from getting behind. In the 44th minute Deportivo Craques fc were awarded a corner. Dario Acosta went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Dario Acosta almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Araçá F. C.'s Jefferson de Moraes did a great save. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tudor Ponor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Nilmar Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 52 minutes into the match, Tudor Ponor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jefferson de Moraes. Araçá F. When Nilmar Vieira fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Araçá F. The supporters of Deportivo Craques fc booed when Araçá F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Luz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jefferson de Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danilo Salgado in the 58th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Salgado in the 62nd minute of play forced Araçá F. C.'s goalkeeper Jefferson de Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nilmar Vieira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tudor Ponor received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jefferson de Moraes came out and tried to block the shot, but Tudor Ponor slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 68th minute. Deportivo Craques fc's Ediberto Sampaio was substituted for Danilo Salgado. Ediberto Sampaio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jefferson de Moraes having to interfere. Araçá F. C.'s Paulo José de Andrade was substituted for Leonel Leão. Jefferson de Moraes came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Craques fc's Ediberto Sampaio. But to his dismay, Ediberto Sampaio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-7. Araçá F. C.'s Manfredo Pinheiro was substituted for Nilmar Vieira. Radomil Zbydniowski charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Radomil Zbydniowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Araçá F. C. booed when Deportivo Craques fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radomil Zbydniowski didn't get a good kick on the ball.
