Waldemar Mineiro's late challenge caught a Barbieri Sports's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Waldemar Mineiro helped the player get up and apologised. Waldemar Mineiro kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Victorino Giraldo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alvin Arthur. One Piece FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Breno Vergílio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Paulo Peres in the 19th minute of play. One Piece FC's Alvin Arthur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save One Piece FC from getting a goal against them. 31 minutes into the match, One Piece FC's goalkeeper Alvin Arthur had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ramiro Novaes. After a defensive mix-up in One Piece FC's zone, Benjamin da Mata stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvin Arthur came out of the goal and Benjamin da Mata tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Barbieri Sports's Benjamin da Mata was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 38th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Alvin Arthur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Gomes, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Alvin Arthur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boruc Sokolski in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Geovani Mandrak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alvin Arthur didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ramiro Novaes went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. One Piece FC's Alvin Arthur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin da Mata in the 62nd minute of play. One Piece FC's Waldemar Mineiro got his second yellow card of the match in the 63rd minute. The referee ordered Waldemar Mineiro off the ground. After 64 played minutes One Piece FC got a freekick which was hit by Waldemar Mineiro. 65 minutes into the match, Barbieri Sports's Boruc Sokolski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alvin Arthur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the One Piece FC defense, Ramiro Novaes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alvin Arthur. The One Piece FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alvin Arthur should have stopped the shot. In the 73rd minute Benjamin da Mata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvin Arthur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benjamin da Mata in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alvin Arthur saved One Piece FC from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Benjamin da Mata's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alvin Arthur was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. One Piece FC's Alvin Arthur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin da Mata in the 81st minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, One Piece FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin da Mata came free, but Alvin Arthur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvin Arthur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boruc Sokolski in the 95th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Barbieri Sports had played much better football throughout.
