A collision led to Laranjense getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Cássio Rosa hit a great ball. Robbie Southgate made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Milosz Juszkowski sent off a good shot on target. In the 14th minute Pedro Luís do Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Palmiro Gueifão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14thth minute of the game Pedro Luís do Valle who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Laranjense's Palmiro Gueifão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Milosz Juszkowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 2-0 became the score in the 22nd minute when Leon Peio elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leon Peio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Independente F.C. Limeira's attentive Severo Dubardo managed to snatch the ball when Alfredinho Cabral made a throw-in in the 56th minute of the game. If Milosz Juszkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 59th minute Milosz Juszkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robbie Southgate saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Milosz Juszkowski scored 4-1 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Robbie Southgate, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Independente F.C. Limeira's goalkeeper Robbie Southgate, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Limeira fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Robbie Southgate should have stopped the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Independente F.C. Limeira players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Laranjense.
