Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guilherme de Souza in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ian Melo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gwidon Juchno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renan Paes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mandi Bulín could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Ian Melo made a huge save. After 40 minutes, Mandi Bulín mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Florão da América and the Xanda FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guilherme de Souza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mandi Bulín's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ian Melo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Xanda FC's Ian Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mandi Bulín in the 60th minute of play. A collision led to Florão da América getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Guilherme de Souza hit a great ball. Florão da América's Gwidon Juchno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Florão da América from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Xanda FC defense, Guilherme de Souza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ian Melo. The Xanda FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ian Melo should have stopped the shot. In the 95th minute Dragolyub Chavdarov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Melo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Florão da América players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
