Vágner Vasconcelos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dário Carneiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcinho Camargo in the 10th minute of play forced Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's goalkeeper Mané Viana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patriots Brasil were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alejandro Raitin took the corner. Vágner Vasconcelos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dário Carneiro in the 19th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Carlinhos de Brito's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vágner Vasconcelos was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. In the 30th minute Carlinhos de Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vágner Vasconcelos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mattias Wennerberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Vágner Vasconcelos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 41 played minutes Patriots Brasil got a freekick which was hit by Mariusz Zaworski. 44 minutes into the match, Patriots Brasil's goal looked a bit too open when Mattias Wennerberg came free, but Vágner Vasconcelos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ booed when Patriots Brasil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariusz Zaworski didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Carlinhos de Brito blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vágner Vasconcelos having to make a save. Alejandro Raitin kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Vágner Vasconcelos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mattias Wennerberg in the 55th minute. The supporters of Patriots Brasil booed when Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Augusto Lopes didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Patriots Brasil getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Mariusz Zaworski hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute, Adrianinho Bertassi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vágner Vasconcelos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Augusto Lopes in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute of the match, Mattias Wennerberg got a very nice opportunity to score, but Vágner Vasconcelos was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 69thth minute of the game Mattias Wennerberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Patriots Brasil's Vágner Vasconcelos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vágner Vasconcelos made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Mattias Wennerberg sent off a good shot on target. Patriots Brasil's Marcinho Camargo got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's Jano Donato was substituted for Carlinhos de Brito. After 75th play minutes Jano Donato shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Vágner Vasconcelos and just under the crossbar into goal. Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's Mané Viana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustão Félix in the 78th minute of play. When Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's Jano Donato in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Patriots Brasil's goalie prevented a goal. Vágner Vasconcelos came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's Dário Carneiro. But to his dismay, Dário Carneiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 89 minutes into the match, Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's goal looked a bit too open when Mariusz Zaworski came free, but Mané Viana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's Dário Carneiro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. When the final whistle sounded Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Patriots Brasil.
