Pedrão Mala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 13 minutes into the match, LRCA Office Club's goal looked a bit too open when Faustão Proença came free, but Slawomir Czerwinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Costin Bădulescu's late challenge caught a LRCA Office Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Costin Bădulescu helped the player get up and apologised. Costin Bădulescu hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After the first half Gurdurão were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The supporters of LRCA Office Club booed when Gurdurão was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Costin Bădulescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Gurdurão's Faustão Proença in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Faustão Proença received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Slawomir Czerwinski came out and tried to block the shot, but Faustão Proença slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 66th minute. LRCA Office Club made a substitution. Domingo Patrido replaced Mário Amaral. If Faustão Proença had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the game, LRCA Office Club's Eliézer Leite nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Natã Massa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-5. Slawomir Czerwinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elton Titos in the 90th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Silvinho Mesquita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gurdurão fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-6. The LRCA Office Club supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Gurdurão's performance. The match ended with a win for Gurdurão.
