In the 5th minute Bass Dost shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mané Viana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bass Dost blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mané Viana having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bass Dost got free with Mané Viana in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bass Dost in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mané Viana prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ booed when Red Bull Magnus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zhao Lin Zhi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mané Viana made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bass Dost in the 18th minute. Cláudio Bittencourt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dário Carneiro in the 19th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Red Bull Magnus's Bass Dost slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mané Viana. That made the score 1-0 after 20 minutes of play. In the 23rd minute Dário Carneiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cláudio Bittencourt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Red Bull Magnus's Bass Dost ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mané Viana. Mané Viana yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 33 minutes in the game Dadá Hoffmann did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Chico de Brito. When Red Bull Magnus's Bass Dost in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's goalie prevented a goal. 37 minutes into the match, Bass Dost had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mané Viana. Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bass Dost was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. If Bass Dost had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's Charis Markas got a free kick in the 45th minute. Charles Puyol kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bass Dost to make the kick off. Charis Markas made in the 51st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Red Bull Magnus's Gerson Cruzado. Mané Viana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bass Dost in the 52nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Bass Dost managed to get in a good position for a shot. Red Bull Magnus's supporters rose to their feet, but Bass Dost was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mané Viana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sten Koch's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Mané Viana on his right side and into the goal. 75 minutes into the game it was 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Hefter in the 77th minute of play forced Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's goalkeeper Mané Viana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Richard Hefter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 80 minutes into the match, Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Hefter came free, but Mané Viana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mané Viana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Richard Hefter's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. After 87 minutes Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sten Koch who took care of the corner kick. In the 88th minute Jano Donato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cláudio Bittencourt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
