Eric Hjortsberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hílton do Valle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hílton Travassos made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Esporte Clube Italva's goal looked a bit too open when Eric Hjortsberg came free, but Hílton do Valle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute Eric Hjortsberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hílton do Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hílton do Valle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eric Hjortsberg in the 77th minute of the match. After having played for 85 minutes, Eric Hjortsberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erivaldo Teixeira during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience was convinced that Luiz Paulo Chaves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hílton do Valle was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. 94 minutes into the match, Luiz Paulo Chaves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hílton do Valle. Esporte Clube Italva's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luiz Paulo Chaves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. After some careless play in the Esporte Clube Italva defense, João Adolfo Goiano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hílton do Valle. The Esporte Clube Italva fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hílton do Valle should have stopped the shot. IGUIPORÃ FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
