Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eric Hjortsberg in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Shi Yong Xiang prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The tension between the C.A. RIBEIRÃO and the IGUIPORÃ FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, C.A. RIBEIRÃO's Dito Araújo got a free kick in the 44th minute. RIBEIRÃO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave IGUIPORÃ FC the free kick. Alexandro Teijeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. In the 47th match minute, IGUIPORÃ FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albert Sparnaaij to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Oséas Gomes made the kick off in the second half. Emiel Franckx scored 3-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Shi Yong Xiang, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aberama Gold could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Carlos Carioca made a huge save. RIBEIRÃO from getting behind. 68 minutes into the match, C.A. RIBEIRÃO booed when IGUIPORÃ FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Paulo Chaves didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The IGUIPORÃ FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while C.A. RIBEIRÃO had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
