Glauco Velloso came out of the goal and Tiburcio Marques tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Glauco Velloso was a little too slow when Tiburcio Marques got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 5th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 10th minute S.C. Corinthians Paulista were awarded a corner. Doğuhan Alpaslan went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Tomé da Silva managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Tiburcio Marques might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Glauco Velloso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tiburcio Marques ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 17th minute Tiburcio Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Glauco Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tiburcio Marques got free with Glauco Velloso in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Shark FC - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Márcio Garcia hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Márcio Garcia in the 23rd minute of play forced S.C. Corinthians Paulista's goalkeeper Fırat Aytekin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Glauco Velloso made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Tiburcio Marques sent off a good shot on target. In the 28th minute, S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Tiburcio Marques dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. 31 minutes into the match, Tiburcio Marques dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Glauco Velloso, 3-0. 34 minutes into the match, Tiburcio Marques dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Glauco Velloso, 4-0. A collision led to Shark FC - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Magno Linhares hit a great ball. Tiburcio Marques could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Glauco Velloso made a huge save. S.C. Corinthians Paulista's attentive Llorian Bullon managed to snatch the ball when Jacinto Queiroz made a throw-in in the 46th minute of the game. 47 minutes into the match, Marco Vianna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fırat Aytekin. S.C. Corinthians Paulista's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marco Vianna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1.

Corinthians Paulista's Dé Töpper made it 8-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Glauco Velloso was left in no man's land by his defense there! 82 minutes into the match, Tiburcio Marques notched a goal, 9-1, to the right of Shark FC - FSCMZ's Glauco Velloso. Glauco Velloso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 85 minutes into the match, Shark FC - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Tiburcio Marques came free, but Glauco Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Shark FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Glauco Velloso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Glauco Velloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiburcio Marques in the 93rd minute of the match. Glauco Velloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dé Töpper, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Glauco Velloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dé Töpper, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. S.C. Corinthians Paulista's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
