Carlos Augusto Vander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiburcio Marques in the 3rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tiburcio Marques in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Augusto Vander saved Cachoeira Paulista F.c from getting behind. In the 9thth minute of the game Tiburcio Marques who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cachoeira Paulista F.c's Carlos Augusto Vander was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Nildo Rosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.C. Corinthians Paulista's supporters rose to their feet, but Nildo Rosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Augusto Vander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tiburcio Marques might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlos Augusto Vander. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tiburcio Marques ran back to his position shaking his head. Carlos Augusto Vander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiburcio Marques, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Carlos Augusto Vander came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Tiburcio Marques. But to his dismay, Tiburcio Marques quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Tiburcio Marques in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cachoeira Paulista F.c's goalie prevented a goal. S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Eriberto Talló got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carlos Augusto Vander came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Tiburcio Marques. But to his dismay, Tiburcio Marques quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Carlos Augusto Vander came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Nildo Rosa. But to his dismay, Nildo Rosa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Carlos Augusto Vander stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tiburcio Marques's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto Talló in the 40th minute of play forced Cachoeira Paulista F.c's goalkeeper Carlos Augusto Vander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Augusto Vander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiburcio Marques in the 43rd minute of play. Dan Waller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Augusto Vander having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Filipe Lima to strike the kick off in the second half. Tiburcio Marques blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Augusto Vander having to make a save. Cachoeira Paulista F.c's Carlos Augusto Vander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiburcio Marques in the 52nd minute of play. If Tiburcio Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 56th minute, Tiburcio Marques left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The S.C. Corinthians Paulista fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Tiburcio Marques blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Augusto Vander having to make a save. Carlos Augusto Vander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiburcio Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Cachoeira Paulista F.c defense, Tiburcio Marques kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlos Augusto Vander. The Cachoeira Paulista F.c fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Augusto Vander should have stopped the shot. Carlos Augusto Vander was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Tiburcio Marques capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tiburcio Marques really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. After a rather tough play, Cachoeira Paulista F.c's Diego Travassos got a free kick in the 67th minute. A collision led to Cachoeira Paulista F.c getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Diego Travassos hit a great ball. Tiburcio Marques did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-10 to the left of a surprised Carlos Augusto Vander 77 minutes into the match. Carlos Augusto Vander made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tiburcio Marques in the 81st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Tiburcio Marques kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Carlos Augusto Vander. That made the score 0-12 in the 85 minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Cachoeira Paulista F.c's goal looked a bit too open when Nildo Rosa came free, but Carlos Augusto Vander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Tiburcio Marques was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 90th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. With a little luck, Cachoeira Paulista F.c's Carlos Augusto Vander got control of the ball when Tiburcio Marques tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carlos Augusto Vander stood somewhat misplaced when Tiburcio Marques came free in front of goal and shot 0-14 to the left of him in the 94 minute. When the match was over S.C. Corinthians Paulista could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cachoeira Paulista F.c throughout the match.
