That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Doğuhan Alpaslan quite brazenly broke a throw-in by José Paulo Ramalho, made in the 7th minute of the game. Erik Ramalho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tiburcio Marques in the 8th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tiburcio Marques got free with Erik Ramalho in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 11 minutes into the game, Luís Paulo Fonseca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fluminense di Parma's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave S.C. Corinthians Paulista the free kick. A collision led to Fluminense di Parma getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Luís Paulo Fonseca hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Fluminense di Parma's Celso Pena got a free kick in the 12th minute. Fluminense di Parma's Erik Ramalho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Fluminense di Parma from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Tiburcio Marques's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erik Ramalho was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Tiburcio Marques received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Erik Ramalho came out and tried to block the shot, but Tiburcio Marques slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 18th minute. Erik Ramalho was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Tiburcio Marques capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tiburcio Marques really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. A collision led to S.C. Corinthians Paulista getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Eriberto Talló hit a great ball. When Kiko Barbosa fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fluminense di Parma's protests and gave Kiko Barbosa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 32nd minute, Kiko Barbosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Fluminense di Parma booed when S.C. Corinthians Paulista was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evandro Trancoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Kiko Barbosa in the 38th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Doğuhan Alpaslan. Eriberto Talló received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Erik Ramalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th match minute, S.C. Corinthians Paulista was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiburcio Marques to maneuver through the defense. Erik Ramalho came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Tiburcio Marques. But to his dismay, Tiburcio Marques quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luís Paulo Fonseca to strike the kick off in the second half. Germain Cano hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Fluminense di Parma's Germain Cano got a free kick in the 58th minute. Kiko Barbosa hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the match, Fluminense di Parma's goal looked a bit too open when Tiburcio Marques came free, but Erik Ramalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Fluminense di Parma's Kiko Barbosa got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Erik Ramalho came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Tiburcio Marques. But to his dismay, Tiburcio Marques quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Erik Ramalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiburcio Marques in the 68th minute of play. After 69 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Fluminense di Parma! The supporters of S.C. Corinthians Paulista booed when Fluminense di Parma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kiko Barbosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th match minute, Fluminense di Parma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kiko Barbosa to maneuver through the defense. Erik Ramalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdecir Carlos in the 75th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Valdecir Carlos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erik Ramalho. Fluminense di Parma's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valdecir Carlos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. If Valdecir Carlos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiburcio Marques scored 7-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erik Ramalho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 88 minutes, Celso Pena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fluminense di Parma and the S.C. Corinthians Paulista players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Fluminense di Parma getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Celso Pena hit a great ball. 89 minutes into the match, Doğuhan Alpaslan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erik Ramalho. Fluminense di Parma's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Doğuhan Alpaslan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. 92 minutes into the match, Fluminense di Parma's goal looked a bit too open when Valdecir Carlos came free, but Erik Ramalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiburcio Marques took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erik Ramalho. Erik Ramalho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. There was no doubt that S.C. Corinthians Paulista were the better team. S.C. Corinthians Paulista's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
