The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the match, GAÚCHO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Décio Antonio came free, but Raí Seco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Belmiro Mello in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raí Seco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. GAÚCHO FC's Raí Seco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kauã Mandrak in the 12th minute of play. Naldo Sabóia hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Wilmer Gallo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vilhelm Lorden in the 15th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Retumbante FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gürsel Saltukalp came free, but Wilmer Gallo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Retumbante FC's Wilmer Gallo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gürsel Saltukalp in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute Décio Antonio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raí Seco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilmer Gallo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vilhelm Lorden, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Belmiro Mello who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Raí Seco when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some careless play in the Retumbante FC defense, Gürsel Saltukalp kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilmer Gallo. The Retumbante FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilmer Gallo should have stopped the shot. In the 42nd minute, Gürsel Saltukalp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. GAÚCHO FC's Raí Seco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save GAÚCHO FC from getting a goal against them. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vilhelm Lorden to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, GAÚCHO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kauã Mandrak came free, but Raí Seco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raí Seco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Belmiro Mello in the 56th minute of the match. Vilhelm Lorden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute of the match, Vilhelm Lorden got a very nice opportunity to score, but Wilmer Gallo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 65th minute GAÚCHO FC were awarded a corner. Tiran Centers went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Belmiro Mello in the 74th minute of play forced GAÚCHO FC's goalkeeper Raí Seco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute, Basílio Cearense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilmer Gallo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gürsel Saltukalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the match, GAÚCHO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabinho Bittencourt came free, but Raí Seco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute, Marcus Prata ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilmer Gallo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcus Prata got free with Wilmer Gallo in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. GAÚCHO FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tiran Centers in the 97th minute. The corner led GAÚCHO FC's Marcus Prata to fire away a dangerous shot which Wilmer Gallo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched GAÚCHO FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
