The supporters of Giovana F C booed when Sipo EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermínio Rosado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gian Weidt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Décio Messias in the 17th minute of the match. After 18 played minutes Giovana F C got a freekick which was hit by Iustin Teodor. Sipo EC's Cacá Maciel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Angelsø in the 20th minute of play. But to his dismay, Eusébio Angelsø quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 46 minutes into the match, Sipo EC's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeu Xavier came free, but Cacá Maciel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Giovana F C were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eusébio Angelsø to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Giovana F C's zone, Oscar Luz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gian Weidt came out of the goal and Oscar Luz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Natanael Ceresso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Giovana F C's Wilson Arósio was substituted for Matías Antunes. Sipo EC's Cacá Maciel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeu Xavier in the 62nd minute of play. After 64 played minutes Sipo EC got a freekick which was hit by Américo Marinho. Giovana F C's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
