Ismael de Carvalho came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Figueirense - FSCMZ's Chico Ceresso. But to his dismay, Chico Ceresso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Chico Ceresso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Ismael de Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, S.E. Cachoeirinha's goal looked a bit too open when Betão Moraes came free, but Ismael de Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Evandro Dracena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lauro Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Betão Moraes in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ismael de Carvalho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Chico Ceresso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zé Recife hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Ismael de Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chico Ceresso in the 30th minute of the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Betão Moraes made a kick off. The tension between the S.E. Cachoeirinha and the Figueirense - FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cachoeirinha fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 90th minute. Penalty! S.E. Cachoeirinha:s Ismael de Carvalho showed great skill when he stopped Hortêncio Arósio:s penalty. After 94 played minutes Figueirense - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Saldanha. After a defensive mix-up in S.E. Cachoeirinha's zone, Betão Moraes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ismael de Carvalho came out of the goal and Betão Moraes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Figueirense - FSCMZ's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
