To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elder Luz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 69 minutes of play, Sipo EC's Noel Velloso made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Betão de Amaral was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 72nd minute Oséias Gerber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Betão de Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Sipo EC's Betão de Amaral threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Oséias Gerber, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Sipo EC booed when S.E. Cachoeirinha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilmar do Valle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Betão de Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Porto in the 91st minute of the match. Betão de Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvano Mohamed in the 96th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Sipo EC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than S.E. Cachoeirinha.
