Bon Čáp's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomé Mota read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Bon Čáp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Agua Santa's Aílton de Mendonça got a free kick in the 14th minute. Jânio Arantes hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Custódio in the 17th minute of play forced Agua Santa's goalkeeper Tomé Mota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miguel Paredes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tomé Mota came out and tried to block the shot, but Miguel Paredes slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 24th minute. Agua Santa's Tomé Mota proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Agua Santa from getting a goal against them. Bon Čáp scored 3-0 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tomé Mota, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 35th minute, MINEIROS's Bon Čáp dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. Tomé Mota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bon Čáp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomé Mota was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Bon Čáp capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bon Čáp really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The wind increased when Frank Rosa made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Bon Čáp made a precise shot to the right of Tomé Mota. Agua Santa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. The supporters of MINEIROS booed when Agua Santa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugênio Monteiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomé Mota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bon Čáp in the 55th minute of the match. Tiago Cosme kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After 58 played minutes Agua Santa got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Cosme. Thommy Jadis made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Tiago Cosme sent off a good shot on target. Thommy Jadis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Miguel Paredes might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tomé Mota. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Miguel Paredes ran back to his position shaking his head. MINEIROS's Thommy Jadis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Cosme in the 69th minute of play. MINEIROS's Hao Zhan Ping managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Eugênio Monteiro in the 71 minute of the game. 72 minutes into the match, Agua Santa's goal looked a bit too open when Mário Maradona came free, but Tomé Mota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute Mário Maradona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomé Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Mário Maradona notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Agua Santa's Tomé Mota. Tomé Mota was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thommy Jadis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 81st match minute, Agua Santa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiago Cosme to maneuver through the defense. Tomé Mota stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mário Maradona's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Tomé Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mário Maradona in the 85th minute of play. Agua Santa's Tomé Mota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mário Maradona in the 87th minute of play. Mário Maradona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomé Mota read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th minute of the match MINEIROS got a corner. Agua Santa's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Humberto Severo ran over to the corner to take the kick. MINEIROS's Teodoro Heidemann was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tomé Mota in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mário Maradona in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomé Mota prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 93rd minute, Mário Maradona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomé Mota was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0.
