Shah Tan's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Zé Sabóia firmly grabbed it by the left post. After some careless play in the Saiko FC defense, Nildo Miranda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zé Sabóia. The Saiko FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zé Sabóia should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Saiko FC's Fábio Torres got a free kick in the 8th minute. Baltazar Diniz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fábio Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Baltazar Diniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fábio Torres in the 19th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Walmir Garcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Esat Çeka managed to get in a good position for a shot. Diamonds FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Esat Çeka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zé Sabóia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rafinha Trevisan kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Baltazar Diniz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseu Fonseca in the 41st minute of the match. Fábio Torres kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Gabriel Bati received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Baltazar Diniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Ernesto Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saiko FC's Walmir Garcia got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Eliseu Fonseca made the kick off in the second half. Saiko FC were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after Diamonds FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Walmir Garcia took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Fábio Torres heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Baltazar Diniz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabriel Bati's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Saiko FC's Zé Sabóia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esat Çeka in the 63rd minute of play. Eustaquio Sandaili charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eustaquio Sandaili the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Baltazar Diniz came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Saiko FC's Gabriel Bati. But to his dismay, Gabriel Bati quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Saiko FC's Zé Sabóia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shah Tan in the 68th minute of play. Zé Sabóia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nildo Miranda in the 70th minute of the match. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zé Sabóia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esat Çeka in the 87th minute of play. In the 89thth minute of the game Esat Çeka who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Saiko FC's Zé Sabóia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Saiko FC getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Walmir Garcia hit a great ball. In the 98th minute of the match Ernesto Santos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zé Sabóia skillfully saved the ball. Diamonds FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
