An unexpectedly hard shot by Dominik Mnich in the 14th minute of play forced America FC's goalkeeper Gildo Furtado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Slavo FC's Jardel Ribeiro in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye America FC's goalie prevented a goal. Gildo Furtado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guilherme Wisnewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Slavo FC's Clóvis Pinheiro got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gildo Furtado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guilherme Wisnewski in the 29th minute of play. America FC's Gildo Furtado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jardel Ribeiro in the 34th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Slavo FC's goalkeeper Otávio Sanches had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arí Silva. Yuri Lopez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Otávio Sanches made a huge save. In the 42nd minute Clóvis Pinheiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gildo Furtado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Guilherme Wisnewski made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute of the match, Jardel Ribeiro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gildo Furtado was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Otávio Sanches took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yuri Lopez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 56 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Slavo FC! Otávio Sanches had in the 58thth minute some difficulties stopping Jonas Dracena's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Slavo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Yuri Lopez came free, but Otávio Sanches reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to America FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Yuri Lopez hit a great ball. Slavo FC's Otávio Sanches played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yuri Lopez in the 67th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Slavo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arí Silva came free, but Otávio Sanches reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute, Yuri Lopez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The America FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 77 minutes into the match, Slavo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arí Silva came free, but Otávio Sanches reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of America FC booed when Slavo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Seth Timiney didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Guilherme Wisnewski fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Slavo FC's protests and gave Guilherme Wisnewski a yellow card for diving instead. Guilherme Wisnewski hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. America FC's Jonas Dracena got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Otávio Sanches showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yuri Lopez in the 85th minute of the match. Gildo Furtado came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Slavo FC's Jardel Ribeiro. But to his dismay, Jardel Ribeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Otávio Sanches showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yuri Lopez, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Jardel Ribeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Gildo Furtado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
