When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Ulrico Herzog sped through União Verde FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Valdir Pérez. After having played for 16 minutes, Ulrico Herzog managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Matanza and Steelers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulrico Herzog was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ulrico Herzog who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Valdir Pérez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jimmy Örtendal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Ulrico Herzog took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Valdir Pérez to make any attempt to save it. In the 34th minute, Matanza and Steelers's Ulrico Herzog ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Valdir Pérez. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ulrico Herzog made a kick off. After 51 minutes, Ulrico Herzog made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. União Verde FC's Valdir Pérez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Jimmy Örtendal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valdir Pérez was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. União Verde FC's Valdir Pérez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimmy Örtendal in the 54th minute of play. Jimmy Örtendal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ulrico Herzog had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ademir Guia charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ademir Guia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 71st match minute, União Verde FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ademir Guia to maneuver through the defense. If Jimmy Örtendal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bebeto de Salles charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bebeto de Salles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 72nd minute, Bebeto de Salles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Jimmy Örtendal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Matanza and Steelers's supporters rose to their feet, but Jimmy Örtendal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valdir Pérez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Jimmy Örtendal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jimmy Örtendal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdir Pérez having to interfere. Valdir Pérez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wiliam Peixoto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind União Verde FC's goalkeeper Valdir Pérez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 93 minutes into the game, Jimmy Örtendal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 12-0. Valdir Pérez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wiliam Peixoto might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valdir Pérez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wiliam Peixoto ran back to his position shaking his head. After 96 minutes of play, Matanza and Steelers's Jimmy Örtendal made it 13-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valdir Pérez was left in no man's land by his defense there! There was no doubt that Matanza and Steelers were the better team. Matanza and Steelers's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
