Leysus Oktavianus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Leendert Looze managed to get in a good position for a shot. São Paulo Leste F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Leendert Looze was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Renan Mendes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. São Paulo Leste F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that César Lucas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 26 minutes into the match, São Paulo Leste F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Wiliam Peixoto came free, but Emerson Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Matanza and Steelers's goalkeeper Renan Mendes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edvard Gråberg. Emerson Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wiliam Peixoto in the 30th minute of the match. In the 37th minute of the match Matanza and Steelers got a corner. São Paulo Leste F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jimmy Örtendal ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of São Paulo Leste F.C.'s goalie and right to Renan Correia. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. São Paulo Leste F.C.'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edvard Gråberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Jimmy Örtendal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Renan Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edvard Gråberg in the 54th minute of play. César Lucas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emerson Leão came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Matanza and Steelers's César Lucas. But to his dismay, César Lucas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 72nd minute Leysus Oktavianus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emerson Leão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Matanza and Steelers's Ulrico Herzog sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emerson Leão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. São Paulo Leste F.C.'s Emerson Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leysus Oktavianus in the 81st minute of play. Wiliam Peixoto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Wiliam Peixoto sped through São Paulo Leste F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Emerson Leão. 86 minutes into the match, Matanza and Steelers's goal looked a bit too open when Gao Kun Mo came free, but Renan Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Ulrico Herzog notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of São Paulo Leste F.C.'s Emerson Leão. Emerson Leão was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ulrico Herzog could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Emerson Leão made a huge save. A collision led to São Paulo Leste F.C. getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Edvard Gråberg hit a great ball. After 96 played minutes São Paulo Leste F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Fernando Nunes. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Matanza and Steelers eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
