After 7 minutes of play, Donzela de Ferro FBPA's Henrique de Lima made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Renan Mendes was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 10th minute, César Lucas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Donzela de Ferro FBPA getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Glauco Munhoz hit a great ball. After 14 played minutes Donzela de Ferro FBPA got a freekick which was hit by César de Souza. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aaron Tello got free with Carlos Germano in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 18 minutes into the match, Matanza and Steelers's goal looked a bit too open when César de Souza came free, but Renan Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ulrico Herzog who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Carlos Germano when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Henrique de Lima came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Donzela de Ferro FBPA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henrique de Lima couldn't finish the play. Donzela de Ferro FBPA's Carlos Germano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leysus Oktavianus in the 26th minute of play. A collision led to Matanza and Steelers getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Jimmy Örtendal hit a great ball. The supporters of Matanza and Steelers booed when Donzela de Ferro FBPA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafa Queirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Donzela de Ferro FBPA's Carlos Germano got control of the ball when Aaron Tello tried to sneak it across the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Donzela de Ferro FBPA's goal looked a bit too open when Leysus Oktavianus came free, but Carlos Germano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 40 played minutes Donzela de Ferro FBPA got a freekick which was hit by Glauco Munhoz. After having played for 41 minutes, Leysus Oktavianus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Matanza and Steelers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leysus Oktavianus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 42nd match minute, Matanza and Steelers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by César Lucas to maneuver through the defense. If Leysus Oktavianus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Donzela de Ferro FBPA were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ulrico Herzog made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henrique de Lima got free with Renan Mendes in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Donzela de Ferro FBPA's Kutluay Ömürcan managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gonza Victoria in the 53 minute of the game. 54 minutes into the match, Matanza and Steelers's goalkeeper Renan Mendes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Henrique de Lima. Carlos Germano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Tello in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Tello in the 57th minute of play forced Donzela de Ferro FBPA's goalkeeper Carlos Germano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Jimmy Örtendal got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Carlos Germano quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Carlos Germano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulrico Herzog, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henrique de Lima got free with Renan Mendes in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edmondo Aloisi hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Carlos Germano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leysus Oktavianus in the 64th minute of play. Matanza and Steelers made a substitution. Wiliam Peixoto replaced Aaron Tello. Carlos Germano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wiliam Peixoto, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Kutluay Ömürcan hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Leysus Oktavianus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Carlos Germano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Matanza and Steelers's Renan Mendes got control of the ball when Henrique de Lima tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gonza Victoria made in the 78th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Wiliam Peixoto however managed to control. In the 83rd minute Leysus Oktavianus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Germano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute César Lucas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Germano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Germano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulrico Herzog in the 88th minute of play. Ulrico Herzog recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Donzela de Ferro FBPA's Víktor Peres was substituted for Henrique de Lima. Gilvan Dante kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 95th minute of the match Matanza and Steelers got a corner. Donzela de Ferro FBPA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jimmy Örtendal ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Matanza and Steelers's corner Jimmy Örtendal fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Carlos Germano quite easily take care of the ball.
