Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-7 lead.

Danone CC made a substitution. Jeremias Velloso replaced Gernando Proença. 57 minutes into the game, Danone CC's Dário Mesquita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 60th minute, Samuel McQuarrie reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of José de Brito. The goal made the score 0-9.
