Joel Pombal made in the 7th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Donzela de Ferro FBPA's César de Souza. With a little luck, BURITIS FC's Gustavo Unai got control of the ball when Henrique de Lima tried to sneak it across the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Donzela de Ferro FBPA's goal looked a bit too open when Rubens Reis came free, but Carlos Germano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Donzela de Ferro FBPA were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after BURITIS FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomás Amaral took the corner. Gustavo Unai made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henrique de Lima in the 17th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Joel Pombal in the 18th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Donzela de Ferro FBPA's Henrique de Lima. Henrique de Lima's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gustavo Unai read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute Edson Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Germano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henrique de Lima scored 1-0 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gustavo Unai, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rubens Reis in the 30th minute of play forced Donzela de Ferro FBPA's goalkeeper Carlos Germano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Donzela de Ferro FBPA's goalie and right to Edson Azevedo. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Donzela de Ferro FBPA's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Henrique de Lima could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Gustavo Unai made a huge save. Gustavo Unai was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Henrique de Lima capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Henrique de Lima really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Gustavo Unai made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Henrique de Lima sent off a good shot on target. After 41 minutes BURITIS FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomás Amaral who took care of the corner kick. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rubens Reis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Carlos Germano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dênis Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Germano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rubens Reis in the 54th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Henrique de Lima had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gustavo Unai. BURITIS FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Henrique de Lima was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The corner led Donzela de Ferro FBPA's Tomás Amaral to fire away a dangerous shot which Gustavo Unai despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Donzela de Ferro FBPA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomás Amaral in the 77th minute. A nice corner shot did that Tomás Amaral got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gustavo Unai quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Henrique de Lima spun around in front of the goal 79 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of BURITIS FC's goal. After having played for 82 minutes, Henrique de Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Donzela de Ferro FBPA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henrique de Lima was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Donzela de Ferro FBPA's Víktor Peres was substituted for Henrique de Lima. After 85 played minutes Donzela de Ferro FBPA got a freekick which was hit by Dany-Adams Mortier. Víktor Peres blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gustavo Unai having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Víktor Peres in the 88th minute of play forced BURITIS FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Unai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jerônimo Linhares charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jerônimo Linhares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to BURITIS FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Jerônimo Linhares hit a great ball. There was no doubt that Donzela de Ferro FBPA were the better team. Donzela de Ferro FBPA's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
