The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Carlos Germano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radu Podgoreanu in the 3rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enéas Carneiro got free with Carlos Germano in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Enéas Carneiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Carlos Germano made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henrique de Lima in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isaltino Couto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gernando Proença could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Carlos Germano made a huge save. Danone CC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gernando Proença in the 19th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Henrique de Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot. Donzela de Ferro FBPA's supporters rose to their feet, but Henrique de Lima was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isaltino Couto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carlos Germano was a little too slow when Gernando Proença got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 1-0. Isaltino Couto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from César de Souza in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gernando Proença in the 37th minute of play forced Donzela de Ferro FBPA's goalkeeper Carlos Germano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gernando Proença received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Carlos Germano came out and tried to block the shot, but Gernando Proença slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 37th minute. Samuel McQuarrie hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by Donzela de Ferro FBPA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gernando Proença was slow to take the kick. During this time Danone CC's players had a chance to rest. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Moisés Linhares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Danone CC's supporters rose to their feet, but Moisés Linhares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Germano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Henrique de Lima made a kick off. Carlos Germano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radu Podgoreanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isaltino Couto didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Donzela de Ferro FBPA's Henrique de Lima shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-1 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 61st match minute, Donzela de Ferro FBPA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Glauco Munhoz to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Germano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Velloso in the 82nd minute of the match. Henrique de Lima struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Isaltino Couto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Donzela de Ferro FBPA. Danone CC's Cauã Toledo was substituted for Albert Vulpe. 89 minutes into the game, Jeremias Velloso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Carlos Germano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Donzela de Ferro FBPA's Carlos Germano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Velloso in the 94th minute of play. Donzela de Ferro FBPA's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
