The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Lynch in the 4th minute of play forced Callegari's goalkeeper Rubinho Lago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5thth minute of the game Rogelio Lynch who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Callegari's Rubinho Lago was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Callegari's goal looked a bit too open when Rogelio Lynch came free, but Rubinho Lago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute, Barnaba Kolba ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stefan Neubrandt was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 19 minutes into the match, Internazionale-RS's goal looked a bit too open when Barnaba Kolba came free, but Stefan Neubrandt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stefan Neubrandt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grigoris Gavril in the 34th minute of the match. Clemente Medeiros hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute, Pedro Augusto Alves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Internazionale-RS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

52 minutes into the match, Callegari's goalkeeper Rubinho Lago had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rogelio Lynch. 53 minutes into the match, Callegari's goal looked a bit too open when Rogelio Lynch came free, but Rubinho Lago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stefan Neubrandt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clóvis Proença in the 58th minute of the match. Pedro Augusto Alves's late challenge caught a Callegari's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Augusto Alves helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Internazionale-RS getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Pedro Augusto Alves hit a great ball. Stefan Neubrandt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clóvis Proença in the 60th minute of play. Stefan Neubrandt came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Callegari's Clóvis Proença. But to his dismay, Clóvis Proença quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Internazionale-RS's Oskars Nīkulis was substituted for Caco Borges. Internazionale-RS made a substitution. Batiste Carrez replaced Moisés Cordeiro. Internazionale-RS's Jorge-Luis Pereira was substituted for Aloísio Arruda. A collision led to Callegari getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Hamílton Sampaio hit a great ball. If Pedro Augusto Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice moves Pedro Augusto Alves could shoot a difficult shot in the 66th minute, which Rubinho Lago however easily saved by the left post. 68 minutes into the match, Internazionale-RS's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Guerrero came free, but Stefan Neubrandt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 70 minutes Internazionale-RS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hamílton Sampaio who took care of the corner kick. When Batiste Carrez fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Internazionale-RS's protests and gave Batiste Carrez a yellow card for diving instead. Batiste Carrez kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. If Pedro Augusto Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Augusto Alves got free with Rubinho Lago in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Callegari's Rubinho Lago got control of the ball when Pedro Augusto Alves tried to sneak it across the goal line. Stefan Neubrandt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Meng Rong Zhou in the 90th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felix Dragnea during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Callegari getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Felix Dragnea hit a great ball. Rubinho Lago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Augusto Alves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Rogelio Lynch took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Rubinho Lago to make any attempt to save it. The Callegari supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Internazionale-RS's performance. The match ended with a win for Internazionale-RS.
