Spectators: 147 (Terracing: 111, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jeff Beck took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Pindobassu EC's Andrézinho França got a free kick in the 4th minute. After 5 played minutes Pindobassu EC got a freekick which was hit by Jeff Beck. Mário Azevedo's late challenge caught a Manchester United FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mário Azevedo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Manchester United FC booed when Pindobassu EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mário Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ľubomír Timčo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 11th playminute. In the 14th minute, Alessandro Pavard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Simão de Toledo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilfredo Rodriguez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Manfred Rudqvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilfredo Rodriguez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Manfred Rudqvist ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 18th match minute, Pindobassu EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alessandro Pavard to maneuver through the defense. Andrézinho França kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. With a little luck, Pindobassu EC's Wilfredo Rodriguez got control of the ball when Manfred Rudqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bruno Martini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilmar Vargas, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. If Manfred Rudqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 30 minutes into the match, Manfred Rudqvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilfredo Rodriguez. Pindobassu EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manfred Rudqvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Simão de Toledo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bruno Martini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Cordeiro in the 40th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Jeff Beck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Pindobassu EC booed when Manchester United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Glauco Saraiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Manfred Rudqvist came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Manchester United FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manfred Rudqvist couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Manfred Rudqvist made the kick off in the second half. Bruno Martini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilmar Vargas, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. If Manfred Rudqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wilfredo Rodriguez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joachim De Jonghe, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Jeff Beck kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. With a little luck, Manchester United FC's Bruno Martini got control of the ball when Dorian Hoffmann tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pindobassu EC's Wilfredo Rodriguez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joachim De Jonghe in the 65th minute of play. Manchester United FC's Joachim De Jonghe got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ľubomír Timčo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pindobassu EC's Azmi Kamuran was substituted for Mário Azevedo. Pindobassu EC made a substitution. Geovânio Veiga replaced Gilberto Cordeiro. 75 minutes into the match, Manchester United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nilmar Vargas came free, but Bruno Martini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute Manfred Rudqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilfredo Rodriguez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ľubomír Timčo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pindobassu EC's Víktor Donatello was substituted for Alessandro Pavard. Wilfredo Rodriguez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manfred Rudqvist in the 86th minute of play. After 87 played minutes Manchester United FC got a freekick which was hit by Dariusz Zajac. 88 minutes into the match, Manchester United FC's goalkeeper Bruno Martini had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nilmar Vargas. Bruno Martini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nilmar Vargas in the 90th minute. Bruno Martini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeff Beck in the 92nd minute of the match. Manchester United FC's Manfred Rudqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Manchester United FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
