Spectators: 148 (Terracing: 112, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Claudinho Cabral started the match with the kick off. The throw-in from Joaquim Branco in the 3rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Ponta da Praia FC's Sydney Lopes. In the 5th minute, América-SC F.C.'s Gabi Gol dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Delfim Sampaio during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 9 played minutes Ponta da Praia FC got a freekick which was hit by Delfim Sampaio. In the 12th match minute, Ponta da Praia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Betão da Silva to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabi Gol in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gustavo Vides saved Ponta da Praia FC from getting behind. Cléberson Barreto charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cléberson Barreto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The throw-in from Cléberson Barreto in the 26th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by América-SC F.C.'s Jerônimo Pimenta. Abel Mattos charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abel Mattos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 27th match minute, América-SC F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Mattos to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind América-SC F.C.'s goalkeeper Nestor Quirino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gustavo Vides made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Erasmo dos Santos sent off a good shot on target. 38 minutes into the game, Gabi Gol cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Gustavo Vides was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Gabi Gol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Gabi Gol kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gustavo Vides. That made the score 3-0 in the 47 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gabi Gol stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes of play, América-SC F.C.'s Gabi Gol made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gustavo Vides was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gustavo Vides made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo dos Santos in the 56th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Erasmo dos Santos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gustavo Vides was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. In the 62nd minute, Delfim Sampaio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. América-SC F.C.'s Gabi Gol got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gabi Gol took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gustavo Vides. Gustavo Vides dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Ponta da Praia FC's Gustavo Vides played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabi Gol in the 70th minute of play. After 72 minutes Ponta da Praia FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Elder Domingues who took care of the corner kick. América-SC F.C.'s Erasmo dos Santos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gustavo Vides in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Gustavo Vides took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabi Gol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. América-SC F.C.'s Kobe Haaland was substituted for Gabi Gol. The corner led América-SC F.C.'s Téo Cordeiro to a score. 7-0 in the 77th minute. Kobe Haaland struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Gustavo Vides didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for América-SC F.C.. Claudinho Cabral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Quirino having to interfere. If Erasmo dos Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that América-SC F.C. were the better team. América-SC F.C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
