The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, Tincho Palermo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Willian Loyola. Morro Grande E.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tincho Palermo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Morro Grande E.C's Willian Loyola proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Morro Grande E.C from getting a goal against them. In the 11th minute, SESI UNITED's Tincho Palermo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Willian Loyola. Willian Loyola yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Willian Loyola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Matorin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Morro Grande E.C's Willian Loyola proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Morro Grande E.C from getting a goal against them. 23 minutes into the match, Morro Grande E.C's goalkeeper Willian Loyola had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tincho Palermo. In the 24thth minute of the game Cristian Duarte who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SESI UNITED's Sotil Maroto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tincho Palermo scored 3-0 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Willian Loyola, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as SESI UNITED's 邱永志 slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Willian Loyola. That made the score 5-0 after 36 minutes of play. Wanderson Mello charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wanderson Mello the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 40th match minute, Morro Grande E.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wanderson Mello to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.

The wind increased when Cristian Duarte made the kick off in the second half. Tincho Palermo scored 8-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Willian Loyola, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 57th minute 邱永志 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willian Loyola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Morro Grande E.C defense, Tincho Palermo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Willian Loyola. The Morro Grande E.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Willian Loyola should have stopped the shot. Willian Loyola came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by SESI UNITED's Tincho Palermo. But to his dismay, Tincho Palermo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-0. Willian Loyola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tincho Palermo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tincho Palermo took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Willian Loyola. Willian Loyola dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 12-0. 邱永志 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 98th minute, Clóvis Motta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SESI UNITED walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
