Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ponta da Praia FC's Manoel Zanette got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ponta da Praia FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Igor Neto scored to the left of an out of position Thomás Quirino, making the score, 2-0. With a little luck, Ponta da Praia FC's Thomás Quirino got control of the ball when Igor Neto tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 27th minute, Igor Neto made a precise shot to the right of Thomás Quirino. Ponta da Praia FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. A collision led to AC Korban getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Durval Garcia hit a great ball. Flávio Baptista scored 4-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thomás Quirino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Igor Albuquerque took a quick shot and it went in 5-1 without a chance for Thomás Quirino to make any attempt to save it. If Igor Albuquerque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 46 played minutes Igor Neto rounded Ponta da Praia FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 6-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manoel Zanette was the one to do the kick off. Cléberson Barreto kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Cléberson Barreto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raphael Ramalho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Raphael Ramalho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manoel Zanette in the 58th minute. In the 60th match minute, Ponta da Praia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Betão da Silva to maneuver through the defense. Ponta da Praia FC's Thomás Quirino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flávio Baptista in the 61st minute of play. Betão da Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Raphael Ramalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cléberson Barreto in the 72nd minute of play. Thomás Quirino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Falcão in the 74th minute of the match. 74 minutes into the game, AC Korban's Igor Neto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thomás Quirino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-1. Thomás Quirino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Albuquerque in the 78th minute of the match. After 78 minutes of play, AC Korban's Igor Albuquerque made it 9-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thomás Quirino was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 80th match minute, Ponta da Praia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urbano Quintyn to maneuver through the defense. Raphael Ramalho made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Hermínio Gerber sent off a good shot on target. When Manoel Zanette came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Ponta da Praia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manoel Zanette couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Ponta da Praia FC defense, Igor Neto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thomás Quirino. The Ponta da Praia FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thomás Quirino should have stopped the shot. There was no doubt that AC Korban were the better team. AC Korban's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
