In the 7th minute of the match Torquimetro FC got a corner. Pragmáticos 1903's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luís Gustavo Negri ran over to the corner to take the kick. Túlio Cruz came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Pragmáticos 1903's Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis. But to his dismay, Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis in the 16th minute of play forced Torquimetro FC's goalkeeper Túlio Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 17 minutes, Olavo Pena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Torquimetro FC and the Pragmáticos 1903 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 17th match minute, Torquimetro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olavo Pena to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the match, Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Torquimetro FC's Túlio Cruz. Túlio Cruz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 22nd minute, Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kauan Baiano got his second yellow card in the match during the 24th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Pragmáticos 1903's Perivaldo Nogueira was substituted for Luiz Eduardo Alves. Kauan Baiano kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. When Pragmáticos 1903's Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Torquimetro FC's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Pragmáticos 1903's Ronaldinho Mendonça got a free kick in the 37th minute. Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Túlio Cruz. Túlio Cruz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 42nd match minute, Pragmáticos 1903 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Perivaldo Nogueira to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Túlio Cruz was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. 45 minutes into the match, Torquimetro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis came free, but Túlio Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Cui Qian Jun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Túlio Cruz having to interfere. Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis had several of the Torquimetro FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 57 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-4 score and a disappointed Túlio Cruz as he didn't even see the shot coming. Cui Qian Jun scored 0-5 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Túlio Cruz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by Torquimetro FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ronaldinho Mendonça was slow to take the kick. During this time Pragmáticos 1903's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Ronaldinho Mendonça almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Torquimetro FC's Túlio Cruz did a great save. Túlio Cruz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis in the 70th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Pragmáticos 1903's Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Túlio Cruz. That made the score 0-6 after 74 minutes of play. In the 81st minute, Raimundo Luz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Túlio Cruz came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Pragmáticos 1903's Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis. But to his dismay, Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. 87 minutes into the match, Torquimetro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis came free, but Túlio Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Túlio Cruz was a little too slow when Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 0-9. Túlio Cruz didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 92nd minute, which inside left pole to 0-10. The supporters of Torquimetro FC booed when Pragmáticos 1903 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaká Fenomeno didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Torquimetro FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Pragmáticos 1903 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
