The supporters of SESI UNITED booed when Morro Grande E.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christiano Trevisan didn't get a good kick on the ball. José Pedro Abraão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bakhar Mkheidze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th match minute, Morro Grande E.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elói Penha to maneuver through the defense. José Pedro Abraão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tincho Palermo's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Lenílson Soeiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ronaldinho Meira in the 24th minute. 24 minutes in the game, Ronaldinho Meira dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After 30 minutes Morro Grande E.C's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bakhar Mkheidze who took care of the corner kick. José Pedro Abraão came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by SESI UNITED's 邱永志. But to his dismay, 邱永志 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 36 minutes, Glauco Aguiar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SESI UNITED and the Morro Grande E.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, SESI UNITED's Glauco Aguiar got a free kick in the 36th minute. After 47 minutes of play, SESI UNITED's 邱永志 made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. José Pedro Abraão was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Morro Grande E.C players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SESI UNITED were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ronaldinho Meira made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, 邱永志 notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Morro Grande E.C's José Pedro Abraão. José Pedro Abraão was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 57thth minute of the game 邱永志 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Morro Grande E.C's José Pedro Abraão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 邱永志 in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Pedro Abraão saved Morro Grande E.C from getting behind. When Tincho Palermo came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the SESI UNITED fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tincho Palermo couldn't finish the play. Tincho Palermo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 61st playminute. Morro Grande E.C's José Pedro Abraão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Matorin in the 64th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, SESI UNITED's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldinho Meira came free, but Lenílson Soeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Glauco Aguiar hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Kaká Sampaio's late challenge caught a SESI UNITED's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Morro Grande E.C's José Pedro Abraão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Morro Grande E.C from getting a goal against them. José Pedro Abraão made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Tincho Palermo sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Morro Grande E.C getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. José Pedro Abraão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SESI UNITED. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bakhar Mkheidze got free with José Pedro Abraão in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Morro Grande E.C getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Kaká Sampaio hit a great ball. When the final whistle sounded SESI UNITED left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Morro Grande E.C.
