This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Gustavo Vides as he didn't even see the shot coming. 6 minutes into the match, FERRARI's Luiz Eduardo Netto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gustavo Vides narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ponta da Praia FC's Gustavo Vides played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Eduardo Netto in the 9th minute of play. Gustavo Vides made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Mariano Ibañez sent off a good shot on target. Carlos Meira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesar Godet having to interfere. Stan Easton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Gustavo Vides made a huge save. 22 minutes into the match, Ponta da Praia FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Vides had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stan Easton. In the 26th minute Mariano Ibañez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Vides saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, FERRARI's Jorge Azevedo got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 61stth minute of the game Mariano Ibañez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ponta da Praia FC's Gustavo Vides was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 62nd minute, Luiz Eduardo Netto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Mariano Ibañez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustavo Vides was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. In the 73rd minute of the match FERRARI got a corner. Ponta da Praia FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Serginho Maciel ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ponta da Praia FC's Gustavo Vides played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Ibañez in the 75th minute of play. Manoel Zanette received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cesar Godet came out and tried to block the shot, but Manoel Zanette slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 82nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Eduardo Netto in the 87th minute of play forced Ponta da Praia FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Vides to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maurinho Garcia kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. A collision led to Ponta da Praia FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Maurinho Garcia hit a great ball. If Mariano Ibañez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that FERRARI were the better team. FERRARI's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
