Carlos Augusto Martins started the match with the kick off. A collision led to AC Korban getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Flávio Baptista hit a great ball. In the 7th minute, AC Korban's Igor Neto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fernando Veloso. Fernando Veloso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Igor Neto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Fernando Veloso made a huge save. Fernando Veloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kléber da Silveira in the 18th minute of play. A collision led to Morro Grande E.C getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. José Augusto Travassos hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Morro Grande E.C defense, Igor Neto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernando Veloso. The Morro Grande E.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernando Veloso should have stopped the shot. Morro Grande E.C's Fernando Veloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Neto in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Igor Albuquerque cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Fernando Veloso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fernando Veloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kléber da Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Neto in the 36th minute of play forced Morro Grande E.C's goalkeeper Fernando Veloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute, Igor Neto made a precise shot to the right of Fernando Veloso. Morro Grande E.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Flávio Baptista took a quick shot and it went in 6-0 without a chance for Fernando Veloso to make any attempt to save it. 45 minutes into the match, Morro Grande E.C's goal looked a bit too open when Flávio Baptista came free, but Fernando Veloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Flávio Baptista was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Flávio Baptista left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AC Korban fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. 54 minutes into the match, Morro Grande E.C's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Neto came free, but Fernando Veloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 55 minutes, Carlos Augusto Martins mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Morro Grande E.C and the AC Korban players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 55 played minutes Morro Grande E.C got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Augusto Martins. Flávio Baptista's late challenge caught a Morro Grande E.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Flávio Baptista helped the player get up and apologised. Flávio Baptista hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. The AC Korban fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when AC Korban's Kléber da Silveira looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 66 minutes of play, AC Korban's Igor Neto made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernando Veloso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fernando Veloso came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by AC Korban's Flávio Baptista. But to his dismay, Flávio Baptista quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-0. When Pedro Paulo Costa came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Morro Grande E.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Paulo Costa couldn't finish the play. 84 minutes into the game, Kléber da Silveira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 12-0. Fernando Veloso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fernando Veloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kléber da Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of AC Korban booed when Morro Grande E.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Fontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute, Kléber da Silveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
