Túlio Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabi Gol, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Gabi Gol put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Túlio Cruz. After some careless play in the Torquimetro FC defense, Gabi Gol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Túlio Cruz. The Torquimetro FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Túlio Cruz should have stopped the shot. América-SC F.C.'s attentive Jerônimo Pimenta managed to snatch the ball when Osvaldinho Mendes made a throw-in in the 18th minute of the game. In the 20th match minute, Torquimetro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Betinho Custódio to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the match, Gabi Gol had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Túlio Cruz. Torquimetro FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gabi Gol was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. América-SC F.C.'s Nestor Quirino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save América-SC F.C. from getting a goal against them. Erasmo dos Santos might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Túlio Cruz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erasmo dos Santos ran back to his position shaking his head. 33 minutes into the game, Gabi Gol cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Túlio Cruz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 36thth minute of the game Gabi Gol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Torquimetro FC's Túlio Cruz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Gabi Gol sped through Torquimetro FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Túlio Cruz. After some careless play in the Torquimetro FC defense, Erasmo dos Santos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Túlio Cruz. The Torquimetro FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Túlio Cruz should have stopped the shot. Erasmo dos Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Túlio Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jaime Alagoano fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Torquimetro FC's protests and gave Jaime Alagoano a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Torquimetro FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Jaime Alagoano hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabi Gol in the 46th minute of play forced Torquimetro FC's goalkeeper Túlio Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

The wind increased when Luís Gustavo Negri made the kick off in the second half. Gabi Gol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Túlio Cruz having to interfere. Gabi Gol scored 0-8 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Túlio Cruz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Túlio Cruz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabi Gol's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. After some careless play in the Torquimetro FC defense, Gabi Gol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Túlio Cruz. The Torquimetro FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Túlio Cruz should have stopped the shot. In the 65th minute, Osvaldinho Mendes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Osvaldinho Mendes kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Túlio Cruz came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by América-SC F.C.'s Gabi Gol. But to his dismay, Gabi Gol quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. After a defensive mix-up in América-SC F.C.'s zone, Raimundo Luz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nestor Quirino came out of the goal and Raimundo Luz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Torquimetro FC defense, Kobe Haaland kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Túlio Cruz. The Torquimetro FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Túlio Cruz should have stopped the shot. Elder Domingues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Túlio Cruz having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, América-SC F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Raimundo Luz came free, but Nestor Quirino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Torquimetro FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Osvaldinho Mendes hit a great ball. The América-SC F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when América-SC F.C.'s Kobe Haaland looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-12 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Kobe Haaland took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Túlio Cruz. Túlio Cruz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-13. 90 minutes in the game, Kobe Haaland fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Túlio Cruz having to interfere. If Erasmo dos Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 92nd minute Raimundo Luz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Quirino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the game, América-SC F.C.'s Kobe Haaland nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Túlio Cruz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-14. When the final whistle sounded América-SC F.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Torquimetro FC.
