The audience thought a goal was coming when Manoel Zanette got free with Túlio Cruz in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 24 minutes of play, Ponta da Praia FC's Manoel Zanette made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Túlio Cruz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Túlio Cruz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manoel Zanette went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Túlio Cruz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wiliam Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Torquimetro FC's Túlio Cruz got control of the ball when Ulysses Pitta tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manoel Zanette got free with Túlio Cruz in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

53 minutes into the match, Torquimetro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ulysses Pitta came free, but Túlio Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Ponta da Praia FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. After some careless play in the Torquimetro FC defense, Wiliam Santos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Túlio Cruz. The Torquimetro FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Túlio Cruz should have stopped the shot. Torquimetro FC's Túlio Cruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manoel Zanette in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Ulysses Pitta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Túlio Cruz was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. Túlio Cruz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There was no doubt that Ponta da Praia FC were the better team. Ponta da Praia FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
