Spectators: 141 (Terracing: 107, Seating: 32, VIP seats: 2) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Carlos Augusto Martins kicked off to start the match. Raimundo Luz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernando Veloso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. In the 11th minute of the match, Luís Gustavo Negri tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fernando Veloso saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Carlos Augusto Martins hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Tomás Magalhães's late challenge caught a Torquimetro FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomás Magalhães helped the player get up and apologised. In the 18th match minute, Morro Grande E.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Magalhães to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Morro Grande E.C defense, Raimundo Luz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernando Veloso. The Morro Grande E.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernando Veloso should have stopped the shot. In the 24th minute of the match, Luís Gustavo Negri tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fernando Veloso saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 35 minutes into the match, Carlos Augusto Martins notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Torquimetro FC's Túlio Cruz. Túlio Cruz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 39 minutes into the match, Morro Grande E.C's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Gustavo Negri came free, but Fernando Veloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Luís Gustavo Negri kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fernando Veloso. That made the score 2-1 in the 41 minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Morro Grande E.C's goalkeeper Fernando Veloso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raimundo Luz.

When Raimundo Luz came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Torquimetro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raimundo Luz couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Carlos Augusto Martins kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Túlio Cruz. That made the score 2-2 in the 54 minute of play. Fernando Veloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Alagoano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes into the game, Wilian de Almeida was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Morro Grande E.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Torquimetro FC the free kick. After 69 played minutes Morro Grande E.C got a freekick which was hit by Wilian de Almeida. In the 71st minute, Raimundo Luz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fernando Veloso was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. In the 75th match minute, Morro Grande E.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilian de Almeida to maneuver through the defense. Leonel Donatello kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Torquimetro FC's Túlio Cruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Paulo Costa in the 80th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Gustavo Negri in the 82nd minute of play forced Morro Grande E.C's goalkeeper Fernando Veloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jaime Alagoano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Torquimetro FC's Osvaldinho Mendes got a free kick in the 88th minute. Túlio Cruz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Augusto Martins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Morro Grande E.C's zone, Luís Gustavo Negri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Veloso came out of the goal and Luís Gustavo Negri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luís Gustavo Negri in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernando Veloso saved Morro Grande E.C from getting behind. Leonel Donatello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Túlio Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Torquimetro FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
