CORINTHIANS's Ronaldo Barral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natanael Rosa in the 3rd minute of play. Wilson Veiga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Cacá Arruda made a huge save. In the 8th minute, Vito Velasco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UP! Essencia FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 12th match minute, CORINTHIANS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basílio Mangueira to maneuver through the defense. Ronaldo Barral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natanael Rosa in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, CORINTHIANS's goal looked a bit too open when Arlindo Ferreira came free, but Ronaldo Barral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cacá Arruda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caio Paiva in the 19th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Vito Velasco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UP! Essencia FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Cacá Arruda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adalberto Passos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, CORINTHIANS's Basílio Mangueira got a free kick in the 29th minute. Natanael Rosa took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ronaldo Barral. Ronaldo Barral dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 38 minutes into the match, Natanael Rosa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ronaldo Barral. CORINTHIANS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Natanael Rosa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. After some careless play in the CORINTHIANS defense, Natanael Rosa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ronaldo Barral. The CORINTHIANS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ronaldo Barral should have stopped the shot. The CORINTHIANS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. UP! Essencia FC were winning 0-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wilson Veiga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, CORINTHIANS's goalkeeper Ronaldo Barral had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arlindo Ferreira. In the 55th minute Natanael Rosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldo Barral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arlindo Ferreira struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Ronaldo Barral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UP! Essencia FC. Vito Velasco's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 66thth minute, Ronaldo Barral skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 68 minutes, Natanael Rosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UP! Essencia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Natanael Rosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the CORINTHIANS defense, Vito Velasco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ronaldo Barral. The CORINTHIANS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ronaldo Barral should have stopped the shot. CORINTHIANS made a substitution. Osmar Neiva replaced Adalberto Passos. CORINTHIANS's Ronaldo Barral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vito Velasco in the 78th minute of play. Ronaldo Barral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vito Velasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 83 minutes into the match, CORINTHIANS's goal looked a bit too open when Vito Velasco came free, but Ronaldo Barral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ronaldo Barral stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vito Velasco's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. A collision led to CORINTHIANS getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Moisés de Almeida hit a great ball. Samuca Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the match, Marcelinho Quirino notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of CORINTHIANS's Ronaldo Barral. Ronaldo Barral was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 96 minutes into the game, UP! Essencia FC's Samuca Valle nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ronaldo Barral made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. UP! Essencia FC played a much better game than CORINTHIANS and deserved their victory. The CORINTHIANS players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
