Carlinhos Schmidt's late challenge caught a Los Bacanas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 23 minutes, Cristóvão Mattos made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Los Bacanas FC's Olívio Arruda tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Olívio Arruda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristóvão Mattos, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Cristóvão Mattos notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Los Bacanas FC's Olívio Arruda. Olívio Arruda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 37 minutes of play, Paranhos Ariranha FC's Cristóvão Mattos made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olívio Arruda was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Paranhos Ariranha FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olívio Arruda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Los Bacanas FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Cristóvão Mattos scored to the left of an out of position Olívio Arruda, making the score, 0-6. After 62 minutes, Cristóvão Mattos made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. Los Bacanas FC's Olívio Arruda tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Arí Dias took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olívio Arruda. Olívio Arruda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. Honorato Afonso might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Olívio Arruda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Honorato Afonso ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cai Yi Guo got free with Olívio Arruda in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Los Bacanas FC's Olívio Arruda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Los Bacanas FC from getting a goal against them. Célio Dionísio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Gaspar Gilesindo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olívio Arruda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristóvão Mattos went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-10 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristóvão Mattos got free with Olívio Arruda in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristóvão Mattos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Olívio Arruda made a huge save. In the 87th minute, Cristóvão Mattos made a precise shot to the right of Olívio Arruda. Los Bacanas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-11. Olívio Arruda came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Paranhos Ariranha FC's Cristóvão Mattos. But to his dismay, Cristóvão Mattos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-13. Paranhos Ariranha FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
